Thanks go out to local writer, Katherine Luck, for "The Volunteer Tourist" article on The Global Citizen Project in today's Fremont Journal. One teeny tiny clarification: I suspect my 12-month experience may be somewhat like a sabbatical, but a far cry from a "vacation."
